I love Liz Weston. She gives such straightforward and detailed, yet accessible, advice. I do like this "collection" of personal finance books, though I didn't find Your Credit Score to be very relevant to my needs at the moment. (Of course that is my own fault.) I'd say this is a good combo if you are just beginning to tackle debt and to try to increase your credit score. Still, my absolute favorite book by her is The Ten Commandments of Money. It covers a ton of topics with just the right amount of detail.Product details

This is a very good learning tool for all. Very pleased to have purchased this item and I have no regrets. I would recommend this to anyone.
I haven't read the book yet, but judging from the preview, it seemed like a good book. I will let you know more later.
Info I've collected from the web....was not impressed with this particular collection. I love Liz's columns and faithfully follow her views & often take her advice...but this was a bit off for me, not quite her standards!
some good tips but many i had already got from Money or other places. we used this as an addition to our Financial Peace University lessons.
A ton of helpful tips for those trying to understand credit. She breaks everything down and makes it simple to understand without boring you to death. I love her website. It offers even more in depth info. If you ever wonder how your credit score works, this will more than answer your questions. It is also a helpful refresher for those who think they have their credit under control.
I have been a financial advisor for 35 years and have read Liz Weston's columns and articles for many years. She always provides good, accurate, and informative information in ways that the average non financial person can understand. I bought her eBook (for free) to see what helpful ideas I could glean from it including easier ways to explain financial concepts.
I've read just about every personal finance book out there. Weston's work is high on my list. She explains the world of personal finance in a straightforward manner. Other writers can be so silly and gimmicky.
In particular, the book "Easy Money" would be a great resource for a young person who is beginning to find her way through the maze of personal finance.
